The day started with the traditional Obi poo walk along the canal, then we collected some shopping bags and walked to the local Tesco Superstore, where we had breakfast and stocked up on food for the next 3 days. Back at the boat we put everything away, untied and headed off towards the Black Country Living Museum, we do not expect to make it in one day, but we will be close.

After Obi’s poo walk and a coffee from Nero we had planned to go and get the waste tank pumped out. Unfortunately the only pump out at Sherborne Wharf closed earlier this year (2026), so as far as we know there is no pump out near Gas Street basin.
